What are the types of code mixing and code switching found in the “5cm.” Novel 2). What are the component of language are used in code mixing and code switching in “5cm.” Novel.\ud The subject of this research is “5cm.” Novel by Donny Dhirgantoro. The objects of this research are english code mixing or code switching and component of language are used.\ud The methodology chosen in conducting this research is the library-based research. Data processing in this research is divided into four phases: reading, identificating, classifying, and analyzing. Then the results of the analysis will be display and analyze in the form of conclusions..\ud Results of the analysis revealed that there are over 417 code Mixing and Code Switching. The result is Outern code switching 104 items, none Intern code switching, Outer code Mixing 313 items and none inner code mixing. The results for the component of language are word 207 items, phrase 105 items and Clause 104 items. So we can say 5cm novel is one novel that follows the style of language appropriate development era of globalization er
